Hello,
I have been using Skysafari almost exclusively as my map for star hopping. But was just playing around with Stellarium Mobile (Noctua Software Limited), and it does have a very nice minimalist interface. Doesn't have the searching capabilities of Skysafari, but I'm thinking it may be less likely to press the wrong button when using it (e.g., accidentally hitting the "orbit" menu option in Skysafari and you literally get sent off into space).
One problem, though. I don't see a way to put a 5-degree, or Telrad, or other type of reticle on the display like Skysafari can do. Checked the online manual, but it is not very detailed. I know how to do it in the Windows version of Stellarium, but I am now specifically looking at Stellarium Mobile (for Android).
Does anyone know if/how a reticle can be shown in Stellarium Mobile? Unfortunately not having that would be a deal breaker for me for using it for star hopping at the scope.
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. |
